Freezing...Buzzing...Restarting....Event Code Bluescreen Error Code 133

Hi

For the last few weeks, my desktop has been crashing whenever I am gaming. I have not been able to hunt the source for these crashes and the crashes themselves are pretty irregular. Sometimes I am able to freely play for 1-2 hrs, sometimes my game crashes within 5 mins.

Basically, my game freezes (only the video) the game "audio" still runs for 10-15 seconds (post freeze), before it changes to a "buzzing" sound and then finally my system restarts itself.

Below is the latest report I can see in the reliability reports tab:

Your minidump files all indicate that it is the device driver on your Nvidia graphics card that is causing the system to crash

Completely remove the current Nvidia device driver using the widely available free DDU utility, then restart your PC and go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturer's website to download and install their recommended version of the Nvidia device driver.

A slightly older version of that driver is more stable than the latest version.

Please try installing a couple of slightly older versions of the Nvidia drivers.

Thanks for the quick response on those minidump files.

However, I did use the DDU utility to clean install the Nvidia drivers a few times already. But, sure. Let me try it out one more time. Will update you here once am done with this process.

Hey Dave! Thanks a lot for replying and looking into it. I do have a few minidump files. I am sharing them across. I've renamed the one which was made at almost the exact timestamp to the above error as "latest".
    minidump_files.zip

Do let me know if you need any other information to find the source of this issue.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Please check to see if your PC is producing any minidump files, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes.

    Open Windows File Explorer.

    Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up.

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox... etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link.

Then post the link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you.
