Hi, Silvestre! I can`t do like you mentioned. When I go to options>system>activation I get this - it says "the system reported that the device hardware has been changed. Error code:"
windows activation gone
Hi! I updated latest bios for my Gigabyte B560M DS3H V2. And now my windows 11 home 64 bit is gone beacause of "harware changes" - something like that I guess. And when I click "fix issuses" (its in Ukrainian) button it doesnt fix but proposes me to go to store and buy activation key. It is big surprise for me to say softly as I already updated bios on this motherboard about half year ago on same windows if I remember correct (or maybe it was windows 10 yet, I really cant remember for sure) - rest of hardware was same also. Im in anticipation of fast solution please as it`s really annoying.

2023-10-20T06:43:07+00:00 Allo, why I even can`t talk to anyone from microsoft? I mean humans, not bots. This is outrageous, how could I know that after bios update I will face such problem?

It could be though the Gigabyte have done something in the bios update that has prompted the activation error so it could be worth contacting them.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.
Running the Activation troubleshooter and selecting the option "I changed hardware on this device recently" should fix the problem.
1-Select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & Security > Activation > Troubleshoot . The troubleshooter will show Windows can’t be activated on your device.
2-Select "I changed hardware on this device recently", then select Next.
3-Enter your connected Microsoft account and password, then select Sign in. The troubleshooter will only work with the connected Microsoft account.
4-From the list of devices that are linked to your Microsoft account, select the check box next to "This is the device I’m using right now".
5-Select Activate.
If the problem persists, please attach a screenshot of the error message to help identify what is causing the problem.
