Windows blackout?

I have no images, but while i was doing my normal stuff, my screen randomly fully blacked out and then one of my app icons appared in the cornor and there was very old windows icons appearing too, then it just went to my background with nothing, after i ctrl alt delled, it came back to normal, what happened???? its hard to say what happened but it kinda looked like this. but the icons had a glass and brighter background and were diagonally stretched to the right kind of

    sorry i dont have any notifier on notifications, but anyways normal stuff was just using my broswer, playing games like roblox and geometry dash, and using discord, i dont know hwta could cause this other then a virus

    Can you further clarify, "while I was doing my normal stuff"? What were you doing when the issue happened?

    Also, are you using your laptop's screen, or using a standalone monitor? Is the resolution you have set the highest one the screen can use?
