You are welcome. For clean boundary, another account makes sense. However, I agree, switching back and forth is annoying. I think you can make it work as long as you set up two sets of different folders on your computer. That's actually how I do it on my computer too. Or you can set up OneDrive for work and all work stuff stays in OneDrive. Be cautious though, if you use OneDrive, make sure you don't set it up to back up your Documents, Photos and Desktop folders.
Multiple user folders
I bought a new laptop. I want to use it for work and home. I don’t want to create separate profiles. Is there any problem with creating another user folder? The default user folder would be for work and then another user folder would be for personal use.

If you are talking about the user folder that lives under C:\Users, then no, those are considered system folders. Each folder corresponds to their own user/user profile.
Since you don't want to create another user, perhaps you can just manually create folder called "Personal" and put it under C:\users\your username folder. Then when you save anything that's personal, you have to manually save it there.
