Hi everyone.

I have this issue on my computer where when i load my computer it gives blue screen and stop code was CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. I have tried everything /scannow command doesnt work, using BIOS doesnt work. i have a ASROCK monitor so its different for everybody. i have looked up tutorials on how to fix this and none work. it wont even let me reset my computer or wipe my windows. When i try to use safe mode (any type) it just repeats to the sad face with the stop code again. ive tried everything i could to fix it. If someone has any idea to help it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you

Hi, thanks for that information, another option we can do is a reset, and restart the device 3-5 times until I reach Windows recovery mode, wherein you have an option to select Continue, Troubleshoot, or Exit.

Or try to Press and hold the Shift key while continuously pressing F8 while starting the PC:

Then we will do a reset, this process will delete all apps but will retain all your files, if you want to proceed follow the steps below:

On Windows Recovery> Click Troubleshoot> Reset this PC> Keep my files> Local Reinstall > Follow the prompt to reset.

Hi Kaden, thanks for that information, that means there are no restore points available on the PC, in this case, we need to use Windows installation media in USB to repair the issue, to do that kindly follow the steps below:

Note: We need another PC and a USB drive (At least 8GB and make sure there are no files inside as it will reformat the USB) once you have that kindly follow the steps:

Step 1: Create Windows 10 installation Media

    Go to this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

Scroll down and click "Download Tool Now" then run the Media creation tool (the downloaded file)

If you agree to the license terms, select Accept.

On What do you want to do? page, select Create installation media for another PC and then select Next.

Select the language, edition, and architecture (64-bit or 32-bit) for Windows 10. This table will help you decide which edition of Windows 10 you’ll choose:

On Select which media, you want to use click USB and save it to your USB drive.

Once done, do the repair kindly follow the steps below:

Insert the USB into the affected PC

Start the PC and if you see “Press any key to boot from DVD,” do so. If you don’t see the message, you might need to change the boot order in your computer's BIOS settings so that it first starts from the DVD or USB.

When you see the Install Windows page, tap or click Repair your computer to start the Windows Recovery Environment.

In the Windows Recovery Environment, on the Choose an option screen, tap or click Troubleshoot.

Tap or click, advanced options and then click on Startup repair.

Hi Kaden, thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard a Windows fan like you. I'll be happy to help you out today.

I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to help, just to confirm, can you still use the PC or not at all? if you can still use the PC, kindly follow the steps below:

Can you please check if you have minidump files on the PC so that we can further examine what is the root cause of the issue?

Press Windows key + E (To open File Explorer)

Click "This PC" > then follow the file path:

    C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy the Minidump files and save them to another location like Desktop or Documents.

Then please upload it to Cloud storage like OneDrive or any cloud storage you are using and please share the shareable link here.

To upload and share the link using One Drive:

Go to this link: https://onedrive.live.com/ then upload the file.

Then provide the shareable link by following the steps from this link:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/shar...

If you cannot use the PC at all, we need to recover it first:

First, we need to go to Windows recovery mode and try the options there:

Restart the device 3-5 times until I reach Windows recovery mode, wherein you have the option to select Continue, Troubleshoot, or Exit.

Or try to Press and hold the Shift key while continuously pressing F8 while starting the PC

    Then on Windows Recovery:

    Do system Restore:

Click Troubleshoot> Advanced options> System restore - Follow the prompt and choose the date when it was working fine.

Note: If the issue persists we will run a system repair or a custom installation.

Let me know how it goes and I hope that helps.

    Bernard
