Problem installing Microsoft Small Basic

I've been trying to install Microsoft Small Basic but when the installer gets to the "creating shortcuts" phase a pop-up saying "Could not access network location _. " appears.

I've tried the solution given here https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/error-1606-could-not-access-network-location/ff91ee5d-b3e0-48a9-b3e9-bb3669aef652 but it doesn't work,I've also tried to install it through the Microsoft store but that also doesn't work.

please help if you know a potential solution

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    Regarding to your information I assume that you have some issues when you install the Microsoft Small Basic.

    Maybe you can try to create a new account and then install this software in the new account.

    Create a local user or administrator account in Windows - Microsoft Support

    If it does not work he issues on Small Basic is out of reach of the response support community. You can go to the GitHub page of this

    software to get further help.
