What about the Defender Antivirus provider status?

    <repost

Defender antivirus seems to be disabled (per the logs). Run windowsdefender://providers (from Start/Run) and see the status of your AV and firewall providers.

To reset the proxy settings, do the following:

    • Download FixList.txt
    • Save Fixlist.txt in the same folder where EnglishFRST64.exe is.
    • Close all program windows.
    • Launch the Farbar Scanner tool and click "Fix".
    • Upload the output log file (FixLog.txt) to your OneDrive.

I installed windows11 completely new today, and in China I need a vpn to connect to the global Internet, so my proxy server is like this. Downloading a third-party firewall and turning off cloud protection both occurred after this error. I think the link timed out due to proxy server issues. What should I do to restore default.

How was Windows reinstalled? Was it a repair installation or a clean installation?

Installing a third-party firewall disables the Windows Defender firewall, which may be why the error occurred.

    Error 0x800705b4 means

    "ERROR_TIMEOUT winerror.h

This operation returned because the timeout period expired.

Your proxy server setting is set to:

    1127.0.0.1:7890

    Is that intentional?

The following is the command which your installer is trying to run:

    "C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MpCmdRun.exe" -ValidateMapsConnection

Maybe you can try uninstalling your 3rd party firewall and try again.

Defender antivirus seems to be disabled (per the logs). Run windowsdefender://providers (from Start/Run) and see the status of your AV and firewall providers.

I can't run pycharm with cloud protection turned on because it causes the library to get stuck when importing. So today I tried to reinstall the system, but the above error still occurs. I don't think it's caused by other antivirus software, because reinstalling the system didn't solve the problem, and then I installed other antivirus software to protect my computer.

    Hi Zhenye,

When does the error occur? Do you use a third-party antivirus program?

Please run the Farbar Scanner and share the logs on OneDrive.
