Hello, my file explorer and this pc command bar settings are corrupted, first it was in the form you see, https://ibb.co/2gSVSDb now it is in the second form, https://ibb.co/kxbLMWw

what should I do to return it to its original state? I don't want to do a factory reset

In the new mode, I have a series of problems, for example, I can't transfer files from above and some other things

    Why?!

Swapping the toolbars is a significant disruption.

And the introduction of the facility to drop files onto the address bar was a hallelujah event, something I have been hankering for for many years.

Why do they do this? Makes no sense whatsoever.

We need these changes reversed urgently.

Come on Microsoft... stop messing with your millions and millions of users. Let us get on being productive.

If you want to change something, at least add a facility for users to turn off the new feature if we don't want it.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

In the recent update, Microsoft added a new version of the File Explorer app, and in the new version, those toolbars have swapped places and also the option to drag files to the address bar has been removed.

The only way to undo that would be to uninstall the latest update, there is no other method or setting to undo the change.

Please open the Feedback Hub (Windows Key + F) and report this to their developers there, the more people that report a problem, then the quicker they will solve this.
