Hi albertkompus,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
I understand your frustration with the backspace key not working as a delete key in Windows File Explorer. By default, the backspace key is mapped to the "Navigate Backward" feature in Windows File Explorer, but you can try to Use the Delete key: Instead of the backspace key, you can use the dedicated Delete key on your keyboard to delete files and folders; the Delete key is usually located in the upper right corner of the main keyboard area.
Microsoft attaches great importance to user experience, you can submit your ideas and suggestions through the Feedback Hub, and the development team will regularly review submissions for ideas or fixes. Please share the feedback link here after submitting as it will allow others on the forum to vote for your submission, including me. More votes will lead to more visibility and higher priority to the development team.
Thank you for your patience and understanding, if you have any questions, please feel free to leave us a message.
Best regards
