Yes, in this case, I think it is safe to ignore those emails.
I have recently received emails from microsoft@acount (I know account is spelled wrong, but that's literally how the name is spelled in the email)
The emails sent to me by microsoft@acount said my Yahoo account would be deleted in 48 hours because I got complaints about my email recently. If that is true, I will fix it immediately. But I wanted to know if this email address was legit. I just found it weird that a representative of Yahoo was emailing me with a Microsoft account.

Hello, this is Emily.
The legit email domain from Microsoft is @accountprotection.microsoft.com.
Do you have a Microsoft account whose username is using a Yahoo email address? If not, Microsoft definitely shouldn't have anything to do with your yahoo account.

2023-11-04T16:47:34+00:00 Just to be sure, I looked back on past emails in my Yahoo account and found a few from Microsoft. I have received emails from Microsoft before using the correct domain you listed above. So, should I just ignore the emails from microsoft@acount?

2023-11-04T16:44:15+00:00 Hello Emily,
Thank you very much for replying to my question! I'm pretty sure I don't have a Microsoft account that uses my Yahoo email address as a username. I have at least three Microsoft accounts, and I have not used my Yahoo email address for any of them.
