I bought a Minecraft Java bundle from my account, but I can't share it with my kid. I can't find the My Library option nor any other way to share my purchase.
Minecraft parent purchase for child accounts
Hi,
I've purchased Minecraft Deluxe bundle for my kids to use. I can install it on their accounts using Microsoft Store, but as Minecraft now requires Minecraft Launcher to launch the game (previously it was a separate app you started; Minecraft Java Edition) it is no longer working. Minecraft launcher does not recognize my kid (child account to my account) as a valid player for my purchase. How can this be solved? Minecraft is a Microsoft product, and I purchased this game in Microsoft Store...
Best regards // Isak

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with the Minecraft Deluxe bundle for your kids. It appears the Minecraft Launcher isn't recognizing your child's account as valid.
To allow your child accounts to play Minecraft using your purchased Minecraft Deluxe bundle, you need to set up family sharing for your Microsoft account. This will allow you to share your purchased apps and games with your child accounts.
Here are the steps on how to set up family sharing:
- Go to the Microsoft Family website:
https://account.microsoft.com/family/home?share...
- Click 'Add a family member'.
- Enter your child's email address and click 'Send invite'.
Your child will receive an email with instructions on how to join your family.

Once your child has joined your family, you can share your Minecraft Deluxe bundle with them. To do this, follow these steps:
- Go to the 'Microsoft Store' and sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Click 'My library'.
- Find 'Minecraft Deluxe bundle' and click 'Share'.
- Select your child's account and click 'Share'.
Once you have shared your Minecraft Deluxe bundle with your child's account, they should be able to play the game using the Minecraft Launcher.
