Problem with accessing Network shared Printer

I've been trying to access network shared printer but it is not successful.

I've configured the network sharing but I still cannot access it.

The versions of the PC's are Windows 10. Windows 11 and windows 11 pro.

We were able to print before with no problem. I have disabled the firewall of the PC where the printer is plugged in already.

What should I do?

    Hello ,

Good to see you in Microsoft Community.

Firstly, could you let me know the specific system version (OS Build)? You can check it by pressing Win + X > System > Windows specifications*, click “Copy” and paste it in your next reply*.

Then please check the basic hardware information of your device (computer and printer). Win + Q to open the search box, type “msinfo32”, then open “System Information”, please take a screenshot of it and attach it to your next reply.

It should be noted that you need to put all devices in the same LAN and set the network as a Private Network, so that other devices in the same LAN are trustworthy and can be connected to both devices.

    • Private network. Use this for networks you trust, such as a network at home or work. When a network is set to private, your PC is discoverable to other devices on the network, and you can use your PC for file and printer sharing.
    • Public network. Use this for networks you connect to when you’re out and about, such as a Wi-Fi network at a coffee shop. Your PC will be hidden from other devices on the network, and you can’t use your PC for file and printer sharing.

To change a Wi-Fi network to public or private

    1. Select Start , then type settings. Select SettingsNetwork & internet > Wi-Fi.
    2. On the Wi-Fi settings screen, select Manage known networks, and select the network you're connected to.
    3. On the Wi-Fi network screen, under Network profile type, select Private.

You can run the printer troubleshooter. Win + Q to open the search box, type "Find and fix problems with printing" and press Enter to open the audio troubleshooter and follow the prompts.

If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards,
