Network Credential find/change

Hi, I am running Windows 11 on my PC and due to some files getting corrupted I have had to re-load Windows 11. I now wish to map the network drives on my NAS to Windows. I open the Map Drive dialogue and try and "browse" to the drive on my NAS I wish to map, but keep getting asked for the Username and Password for my Network Credentials and I have no idea what they are or where they are located as PC was initially set up about 10 years ago.

I assume I have two choices either to find or recover my existing Network Credentials or the change to some new ones. Can anyone guide me through this so that I can map my network drives?

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out! I'm Microsoft user like you.

I can understand you are facing some issues with connecting NAS drive.

As you have re-installed Windows so you need to find user from NAS.

Please try access NAS drive console or admin page using https://<NAS drive ip>

Check NAS manufacturer vendor website for default credentials if you do not remember. then try to create a new User so that you can map NAS folder to your computer.

In case of additional questions, reach out back to me, and I will be happy to help and try our best to resolve your issue.

    Best Regards,

    Prakash
