Hi again, Straight forward question today, what does "Current channel broad" mean in Security updates? I have noticed it in the daily Windows Defender update! I think other users are asking the same thing!

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

That is just something new Microsoft have started adding to the names of updates, it just means the update has been fully tested and is applicable to the current public builds of Windows, it is nothing to worry about.

so why is the same update constant and on a daily basis? click update the exact same one appears time and time again so certainly does appear to be something to worry about as that is most certainly NOT normal behaviour

Good morning Lee, Happy Christmas to you. I didn't understand what this post was about this morning! I realised it was something I had asked in early November! I didn't have this problem, I just wanted to know what "current channel broad meant" ?

Happy New Year to and all on the "Community"

    Take care

    Brian
