Installing SP/CU for SQL Server Express - secondary MECM site

Hi, I have two secondary MECM sites (version 2103) running on different SQL Server Express Service Pack/Cumulative Update versions so I want to install SP/CU on one of them (to have both sites on same SQL Server Express version). Should I do something prior to starting SP/CU installation or this is straightforward procedure?

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.
    Install CU for SQL Server Express is similar to install CU for SQL Server.
    We can start the CU update installation, it will check files in use that might affect the installation, such as SQL Server management studio, close them and finish the CU installation.
