When trying to open an MSI file on Windows, it failed to open. I suspected it was due to Windows Installer. Upon investigation, I found that Windows Installer was not running. When attempting to start the Windows Installer service, I encountered Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion

Operating System Version: Windows 11 Home Edition 22H2

I have tried adding ServicesPipeTimeout in regedit.

I have also tried the following commands in CMD:

sfc /scannow

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

I have already tried many methods, such as running commands like msiexec /unregserver and msiexec /regserver.

Please perform an in place upgrade using the guide here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...

An inplace upgrade will use a fresh copy of updated windows and compare it with the files on your system and will replace any files that are missing/corrupted or causing issues. This does not delete your user data and is the way forward is the local reset does not work.

    Hi, I am Jaspreet Singh.

You mentioned you have used the sfc and dism tools.

What was the result of the scan?

Did it say "corrupted files were found and fixed" or dd it say "No integration errors found"?
