Windows activation Id

I want to activate my windows xp professional, I do have the product key but who can I phone or how can I get the activation ID.

So many people here now have problems getting through to anyone at Microsoft on the old links.

And if they do get through at all, they have trouble getting hold of anyone who knows and understands anything about XP.

As operating systems reached End of Life, the knowledge was no longer taught to new employees.
