After reinstalling Windows: Bitlocker encryption disappeared, but data still encrypted. How to recover?

This problem had occurred 3 years ago, however, I wanted to ask if there is a way to solve this problem.

This is the problem:

I had a hard drive encrypted with Bitlocker. At some point I had to reinstall my computer, however this made the Bitlocker encryption on the hard drive disappear. But the individual data was still encrypted and I could not open it. The problem used to be with Windows 10, now I have since switched to 11.

The question:

Is there any way to recover the data or is it lost forever?

Thanks a lot already!

Best regards

Hi! Good day , Jerry here, an independent advisor. Here to help you.

May I ask if you already have tried to check https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey then sign-in to your account, from there you should be able to see you available bitlocker recovery key.

You may also refer to this article below.

If none of this is helped, then the you will not be able to recover your files anymore as theres no other workaround for this without using the recovery key.
