Windows updates causing freezes?

Hello, this is not the first time I have run into this issue with my computer. Basically, my applications will freeze, or stutter for 5 or so seconds, this causes the game to crash sometimes and any audio to cut off. In the past I never knew what caused it and could only solve it by system resetting. I now figure that it might be installing a windows update. I just installed the recent Windows 11 update and started facing this issue. Is there a fix for this?

    Hi, Waylon.

I'm Jen. I'm an independent advisor and would happily help you figure this out.

You can first try repairing corrupted system files by running an SFC and DISM scan. For the steps, I suggest following the steps in this link.

However, if the issue persist try uninstalling the update for the meantime. You can follow the steps in the link below.

Feel free to share how it went.

    Kind regards.
