    Yes. The procedure is commonly called In-place Upgrade or In-place Repair. It allows you to keep files, settings, and apps.

    I will leave the procedure below if you are interested.

    1. Download the Media Creation Tool and run it;

    Access the link below and click on "Download tool now".

    https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/win...

    1. Accept the terms of use;
    2. Select "Upgrade this PC now" and click "Next";
    3. At the "Ready to install" screen, select "Choose what to keep" and select what you want to keep.
    4. Click "Install" and wait for the procedure to finish. Your computer may restart several times.

    Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    The problem of updating the apps in the Microsoft Store may have left the apps out of date. This could be why they are crashing.

    I'm going to suggest some procedures to see if it fixes the problem that is preventing apps from updating through the Microsoft Store.

    IMPORTANT: Close the Microsoft Store before doing the procedures to avoid errors.

    Run the troubleshooter:

    1. Click the Start button;
    2. Select "Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot";
    3. Select "Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter".

    Clear your Microsoft Store cache.

    1. Press "Windows + R";
    2. Type WSReset.exe ;
    3. Click OK.

    See if you can update any apps.

    If it persists, sign out of your Microsoft account in the Microsoft Store app and sign in again with the same account.

    See if you can update any apps.

    If the problem persists, reset the Microsoft Store app:

    1. Click the Start button;
    2. Select "Settings > Apps > Apps & features";
    3. Select "Microsoft Store" and click "Advanced options";
    4. Click "Reset" and click "Reset" again.

    – Also, try the "Repair" option in the same place if Reset doesn't work

    If the problem persists, re-register the Microsoft Store.

    1. Press "Windows + X" and select "Windows PowerShell (Admin)";
    2. Type or paste the following command and press Enter:

    Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

    Note if the command will run correctly or will have a red message.

    1. Restart the PC.

    If that doesn't work, don't give up. Let me know, and I will provide other methods.

    Feel free to ask back any questions.
