Audio volume issue.

I'm running Windows 11 v 23H2. When I watch video's on YouTube, I'll adjust the volume to my comfort level using the Monitors volume control. When one video is finished and I start another one, a lot of the time the ne video is alot louder or its alot softer in volume. I'm constantly having to adjust the volume. This problem started about 2-3 months ago. Before then there was never an issue with the volume changing between video's. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what the issue is and possible solutions?

    Hi Jeremy,

I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.

I will recommend the following solutions.

    1. Install the latest Windows updates.
    2. Update or Rollback the audio driver in the Device Manager.

Open Device Manager >> click sound, video and game controllers >> right- click your Audio driver >> click Update Driver.

If the system says that you have the latest driver installed. Try to Roll back the driver. Right-click your Audio driver >> click Properties >> click Driver tab >> click Roll back driver.

    1. Uninstall the currently installed driver then download and install the available driver from the PC manufacturer's website.
    2. Run Windows troubleshooter.

Open Settings => System => Troubleshoot => Other troubleshooters => Audio => Run.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.
