I'm tempted to either disable the firmware through device manager or uninstall it from windows update: but I don't want to cause accidental bricking of the machine if I do.
Firmware Update Error Code?
To keep it brief:
Got an optional update through Windows update for a Firmware Update to my Micro-Star motherboard (MSI laptop). It downloaded, Installed, and, after a few restarts, was good to go.
My question is that after the Installation I went into Device manager to check version numbers and found the error event shown below: with a device starting error.
My main questions are should I be concerned and is this an issue? The laptop seems to be functioning normally. Guidance is appreciated.
Firmware 1.0.0.15 for the update.

2023-09-10T02:16:49+00:00 I think your looking at older events.
I'm talking the event at the bottom of the list in the second screenshot.
Not third from the bottom which was an event from June months ago.

Please note, there is later event "device started". So this error was interim, and after that your device was started and normally operated.
