Hi all,

I have a Dell laptop I bought in 2017 which I am having issues with and does not show up on the list of devices on my Microsoft account.

How can I find it so the I can get the key for BitLocker and unlock the SSD?

II am trying to savage my data from the SSD.

Thanks

Yep you can try to send it to a data recovery specialist. I am not too sure about bitlocker but I do believe that the hard drive should be in the original laptop to try to unlock. I never tried to read a bit locked hard drive on a docking station though. How is the hard drive attached to your computer right now? Is the locked drive a partitioned hard drive or is the whole C drive locked. Tnx
