Hi,

I'd need a small window on top of a big one to follow its movements, covering always the same portion.

Thanks a lot

It is not possible to link the location of that small window to the underlying window in Windows, there is no setting, method or registry hack in Windows to do that, it is only possible to do that if you have programmed that small window yourself.

Hi Sumit, thanks for your reply.

I should give this post a better title: 'Attach window on top of another one'

I have a little program, to blank portions of the screen, and I use it to cover zones of other programs that annoy me, e.g. timers

I'd like the little blank space program to follow the one it's covering if this gets moved

    Hope I've been clear...

    Hi Mtt,
I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

Slightly unclear what you are trying to ask. I wonder if you are show Window contents while dragging?

    Please keep us posted.
