cannot restore apps on taskbar

apps collapsed in taskbar cannot be restored.

    I will now recommend that you try to repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade to fix the system.

    Thanks for your offer of help. I'm running w10 pro.

    When I click on system, it immediately goes to the taskbar collapsed and can't be expanded.

    Looking at another computer with the same OS, operating system, there is no "Troubleshoot" option.

    We don't seem to e talking about the same Hardware?

    I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.

    Please try the following methods.

    1. Install the latest Windows Updates
    2. Run Troubleshooter

    Open Settings => System => Troubleshoot => Other troubleshooters =>Windows Store Apps => Run.

    1. Use System File Checker to check and fix corrupted system files that may be the cause of the issue. Please refer to the link.

    4, Restart Windows Explorer

    .Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager, then right-click Windows Explorer and select "Restart" to restart Windows Explorer.

    1. Run the Powershell command.

    >> Click Windows PowerShell (Admin)

    >> Type the following then hit Enter:

    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    >> Close Powershell and restart the PC.
