Unfortunately, non of them works, the driver update, command prompt scan, rebooting the system. actually this problme already persisted me for like half a year, i just find it unsignificant until now when i really need to actively changing the brightness

There is a new version of the graphics driver on the Nvidia website released on Sep 12, 2023. Downloading and installing this version of the driver should fix the problem. You can use the "Automatic Driver Updates" from this link to download and install the latest version of the driver.

    Hi, perry,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

The brightness feature is related to the graphics driver. Please provide some more details to help identify what is causing this problem. Are you using a laptop or a desktop? Which is the full model of your computer/laptop or motherboard?

Also, attach a screenshot of the System Information Page:

1-Right-click on Start then click on Run

2-Type: msinfo32 and click on Ok

And a screenshot of the version of the driver installed:

1-Right-click on Start then click on Device Manager

2-Click to expand the Display adapters

3-Right-click on the graphics driver and click on properties

4-Take a screenshot of the General and Driver tab
