'Microsoft Store couldn't update.'

I cannot update the Microsoft Store app or download any apps/games.

I have searched online for various solutions to no avail and have spent hours of my time trying to find a way to fix this problem.

I have also tried searching the error code, but it shows other problems with the same error code or a similar one.

The error code is 0x800706BE.

    Hi Thomas,

    Does Windows Update work correctly despite this issue?

    Please run msinfo32.exe, press Ctrl + S, and save the NFO log.

    Share the NFO log on OneDrive/Dropbox/WeTransfer.com, and post the link here.

    Also, please share the Application and System event logs:

    • "C:\windows\system32\winevt\Logs\Application.evtx"
    • "C:\windows\system32\winevt\Logs\System.evtx"
