Hi, I recently built this new PC and I'm unable to connect to WiFi with it. It is a WiFi motherboard and it came with its own antenna but I am unable to use WiFi. In device manager I noticed that the network controller drivers were missing but when I tried to install them it said that windows couldn't find any drivers. My motherboard is the ASUS B650 Plus WiFi.

If you're unable to connect to WiFi on your newly built PC with the ASUS B650 Plus WiFi motherboard, and you've already installed the drivers from the ASUS website without success, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check the antenna

Ensure that the antenna is properly connected to the motherboard and positioned correctly for optimal signal reception.

    1. Reset BIOS settings

Sometimes, resetting the BIOS settings can resolve driver-related issues.

To do this, restart your PC and enter the BIOS settings by pressing the appropriate key (usually Del or F2) during startup.

Look for an option to reset the BIOS settings to default or optimized defaults.

Save the changes and exit the BIOS.

    1. Update BIOS

It's possible that there may be a BIOS update available that includes fixes for driver compatibility issues.

Visit the ASUS support website for your motherboard model and check if there are any BIOS updates available. If there are, follow the instructions provided to update your BIOS.

    1. Try a different driver version

If the drivers provided by ASUS are not working, you can try downloading and installing a different version of the network controller driver. Visit the manufacturer's website of the network controller chipset on your motherboard (usually Intel or Realtek) and search for the latest driver for your specific chipset model. Download and install the driver according to the instructions provided.

    1. Contact ASUS support

If none of the above steps resolves the issue, it's recommended to reach out to ASUS support for further assistance.

They may be able to provide specific troubleshooting steps or offer a solution to the problem.
