Randomly get multiple explorer error windows

I have an issue where I randomly have 3-5 Explorer.exe message boxes pop up stating: "This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action..."

However, as this appears to happen completely at random (often when I am away from my PC), I have no idea what file and what action is failing to occur.

Is there any way to detect what is causing this issue?

    Still ongoing.

    The issue actually reoccurred again today.

    I'm glad that it's not just me, or my hardware, but it would be really nice to have something to trace to try to resolve the issue.

    I have not noticed it on my home desktop, but my home desktop is rarely ever left on but not in use.

    Out of curiosity, what brand are the laptops? Maybe it's a Dell issue (my work machine is a Dell desktop, with dell peripherals)

    Hi mate, is this still an ongoing issue for you?

    Or have you found a fix as I have several laptops running 10 22H2 with the same pop up

    Here is an image of the dialog. As stated, it is a generic message, so I do not know where to start looking.

    As shown below, there were 3 identical dialogs, and I was away from my PC at the time (momentarily, it was not locked) so it was not due to user input.

    I will do so next time the issue occurs, but as it is an intermittent issue, I cannot say when that might be.
