Hi all,

I found some problem when using the Microsoft Excel . I had a laptop operating Win 10 and connected with an extended (4 : 3) monitor. The Office version is Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013. My setup is the laptop monitor as main monitor and 4:3 monitor as 2nd (Extended) monitor.

My problem is : When I opened an excel file and I drag it to the 2nd monitor. The excel file and the content were resized. (The excel still running) And the most strange is , the excel application will be hanged if I continue to input contents. (Mostly happened on the file rescaled)

How can I solve the problem and what can I do to prevent this problem?

    @OA Staff

    Does this issue occur with "Duplicate" mode?

    Please go to Start menu > System > Dispaly, select different monitor number ("1","2"), check the scale and Display resolution for each monitor.

    In Excel, I would suggest you go to File > Options > Advanced > under Editing options, uncheck the "Automatically flash fill" box, under Display section, tick "Disable hardware graphics acceleration" checkbox.

    According to some similar threads, compatibility between graphics drivers, touchpad drivers and Excel may cause this problem.

    Such as "Excel 2016 - Freezes when extended to a external Monitor", after FXK000 disabled the "Intel Graphics Control Panel Service", Excel work smoothly on the extended monitor.
    It's also recommended to update the graphics driver, such as Intel's integrated graphics driver.

    In the thread "Excel 2016 64bit freezes often on several office computers", Linxus40 resolve similar issue via disabling related touchpad service.

    Hope the information could be helpful.
