I understand that you are getting the message "you must use Windows Hello or smart card to sign in" when logging into Windows, which is preventing you from logging into the system.
I understand your concerns and will do my best to assist you. However, I need more information to accurately identify and solve the problem. If possible, could you please provide the following information with me:
- Logging on to Windows with a smart card is an advanced authentication method usually used in businesses. Are you a personal or business user?
- Your computer has not been set up with a pin code before has it?
- ”i have followed you instructions and disabled or accidentally enabled some configuration for card reader - smart card“ It looks like another support person assisted you with some of these operations previously, would you mind sharing with me the operations you performed previously?
