Are you unable to get into the Recovery Environment or Safe Mode?

The first time I booted after the install I got to my desktop then immediately a screen popped up that said something went wrong and windows needs to restart. It automatically shut down me pc and now every time I boot my pc shuts itself off after 5-10 seconds.

What type of crash are you getting on boot up, is it a blue screen or does the PC just shut down suddenly?

If it is a blue screen, please provide a photo of that screen.

    Hi Quinn,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Are you able to boot into Safe Mode using this method, and if you can, is Windows stable in Safe Mode?

Start your PC, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Shut Down

    Do this twice

On the third start Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt... etc.

Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - Startup Settings and click Restart

Upon restart, press 5 to enter Safe Mode
