Recently upgraded my PC: Ryzen 5800x, MSI b550 Tomahawk, GTX 1660ti, G Skill Ripjaws 3600 hz 32G, samsung 990 pro 2tb, Cooler Master 600W. I have updated my BIOS and drivers, and have been getting the BSOD WHEA-UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR.

Going into my event viewer I see:

A fatal hardware error has occurred.

Component: Memory

Error Source: Machine Check Exception

The details view of this entry contains further information.

I have attempted looking into my dump files with WinDbg Preview to no avail. Attached are my three most recent DMP files.

    Update:

After a clean install of windows, and reinstallation of drivers, I was able to game for about 3 hours yesterday and had no BSOD's. Sadly today they have returned with a vengeance but with a new, and hopefully the root, error: HYPERVISOR_ERROR (20001).

Thank you again for you help up to this point.

    Sorry if it didn't help.

I will now recommend that you clean uninstall the Nvidia driver using DDU(https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-dr...) and then install an older/different version from the Nvidia support site.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.

    Paul Navera,

    Thanks for the response,

I downloaded the most up to date BIOS and Ryzen 5800x drivers, and confirmed that I had no overclocking on.

Unfortunately I am still getting the same WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR with AuthenticAMD minidump.

If you have any other ideas please let me know!

    Thanks

    Hi MailmanLLC,

I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.

The minidump files point to "AuthenticAMD.sys" which is the AMD CPU driver.

I will recommend that you update the Chipset driver and BIOS to the latest version.

Also, turn off any overclocking settings.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.
