I tried this method as well as everything posted on all the user groups and nothing works. I still have reams of paper wasted on this error message. I have an Epson ET-2760 printer and I keep it turned off except when I have a print job. This problem all started when I upgraded my computer from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

Welcome to Microsoft community.
I understand that you're experiencing printing issues with your Epson ET-4760 printer. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the problem:
- Restart your printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in. Turn on the printer and see if the issue persists.
- Check printer settings: Ensure that the printer is not set to automatically print any documents or receive print commands from unknown sources. You can access the printer settings through the control panel or the printer software on your computer.
- Update printer drivers: Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Visit the Epson support website, enter your printer model, and download the latest drivers for your operating system.
- Reset network settings: If your printer is connected to a network, try resetting the network settings. Refer to your printer's user manual or the manufacturer's website for instructions on how to do this.
- Disable eSCL/ScannerStatus: If the issue persists, you can try disabling the eSCL/ScannerStatus feature. This feature allows the printer to communicate with scanning software, and disabling it may help resolve the problem. Again, consult your printer's user manual or Epson's support resources for guidance on how to disable this feature.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance. Thank you.
