OneDrive Shared links!

I do a lot of PowerPoint presentations which I normally send out on emails. I normally save to Mp4 video which most people can open. If the presentation exceeds the 25Mb max allowed I use a "Share" link with OneDrive etc. I normally right click on the file, share and copy and paste on my email etc. Most of the time this works fine and most people can open link. Occasionally like yesterday when I paste the link it is "Black" when mostly it is "Blue". My contacts can't open it! I am unsure what the problem is and how to solve it! Sometimes if I click on the email page a few times it changes to Blue then I send!! I think I have had this problem before but can't remember how I solved it!!! Done the usual health checks scannow etc.

Hi again Paulo, thanks for that info much appreciated. I have found if I put my cursor at the end of the link and press enter it changes to blue! Did not have to do this before but at least it works! I don't keep a lot of files in OneDrive so not overloaded etc. My last check was about point one of a gigabyte (nothing compared to most people) ! Also once I get feedback that my contacts have opened and watched I remove presentation (delete). It was a few months ago I realised people could not open my links. I realised I had removed (broke the link) etc. You live and learn don't you !!

    Thanks again

    Brian

Hi Brian, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

Sorry to hear you're having this issue. There are several reasons why you can't create a shareable link. You can check this article for details:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/unab...

If you know you meet all those requirements and still unable to create a link, a workaround would be to open OneDrive on the web and share the file from there. That should generate a shareable link.
