I have a program that is written in Visual Basic. It uses "Microsoft .NET Framework" as well as DirectX. I frequestly get an error message pop up saying I am out of memory while running the program despite seeing that it is using a small fraction of my available computing power. Does anyone know why this might be happening? This happens on all Windows operating system as far as I can tell (Windows 11, 10, XP, etc.).

    Hi,

My name is Igor, it's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you.

Please show this error message. Run Task manager, go to Performance tab, select Memory at the left and show the screenshot when you see the error.

    Hi Igor,

Thanks for the help. Below are pictures of the error message and the task manager when I run into the issue. I was expecting to see the memmory spike to 100% when the "Memory Issue" warning popped up, but it did not.

This is a problem with the program, it is not related with the system memory.

Maybe data set is too large for 32-bit program. Can you ask program's author for the help?

    Igor,

They program's author is not sure what the problem is either... We will keep searching. If I make any headway I'll post an update here.

    Thank you,

    -Patrick
