Hi guys,

I've been trying to crack down on this BSOD that happens during heavy hardware load (playing Hunt or Diablo IV)

I've updated BIOS, tried disabling DOCP, enabling ECO mode etc.

Attachad a WinDbg analysis of the memory dump file below. Not sure what it means, can someone explain this in plain terms?

Thank you

Yes, every storage device is included.

To troubleshoot this issue, if you are overclocking your PC, try running everything (CPU, GPU, system memory) at their stock speeds. See if the issue is still reproducible. Also, turn off XMP profile or set it to Auto.

If the issue still persists, replace SSD as the last resort.

Please do not hesitate to ask if you need further assistance.

    Stay safe

    Hi Dyari,

Thanks for all of that. I'm afraid I've already gone over these 4 steps over and over

I've replaced my RAM and GPU but the issue still persists. I've also removed my display drivers with DDU and did a clean install. I've tried moving the games to a different SSD but no luck there too

Since it's the storage port driver that's at fault is it possible that a cable or a USB hub could be at fault? It's weird however that it only bluescreens during heavy gaming load

WinDbg come out with a hal.exe error so my first thought was ASUS Armoury Crate has broken my PC with one of its driver updates (it has in the past)

I'm thinking of installing a copy of Windows 11 on a new SSD drive and seeing if the issue still persists, otherwise, I may have to replace my Motherboard, CPU and PSU and removing cable extensions just to be safe....

Is there anything else you can think of?

Thanks for sharing the minidump file metam0q,

The minidump file indicates storport.sys as a cause of the crash which is related to the Microsoft Storage Port Driver.

To fix this issue, kindly try the steps below:

    1-Check for updates:

Go to Settings > Update and Security > Check for update > Install all the pending updates

2-Uninstall any third-party security software and scan for viruses & malware with the free Malwarebytes:

    https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download

    3-Use System File Checker:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/usi...

4-If the issue still persists, download and then install the latest version of BIOS & Chipset drivers from the manufacturer's website.

Please do not hesitate to ask if you need further assistance.

    Stay safe

    Hi metam0q,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

Kindly check C:\Windows\Minidump and copy available minidump files to the desktop then share them via One Drive or Google Drive in order to be analyzed and indicate which file is causing the crash.

Also, check C:\Windows and share the MEMORY.DMP file.

If the folder is empty or the MEMORY.DMP is not available, kindly share the Event viewer logs:
