When I boot up my pc it boots up and then displays an error before booting up my operating system. It says “B1InitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000229” I have no idea what that means. If you could help that would be appreciated.

the error you received earlier indicates there probably you have a hardware issue, I advised you to reinstall the Windows because if you have faulty hardware the problem will probably happen again but now getting the orange/white lines appear in BIOS too

I suggest contacting your device manufacturer to guide you on how you can resolve this error as they have better knowledge of how the BIOS on their works and consider An RMA (return merchandise authorization)

    Hi Charlie,

    I'm Amr, an independent advisor.

This error you get is beyond repair and you should reinstall your windows

    From another device

    Click this link:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

to download the Media Creation Tool (Click on Download Tool Now), with that, you can download the latest Windows 10 ISO (Select Create Installation Media for Another PC), you can create a bootable USB flash drive (min 8GB) using that tool

Then, Boot your PC from the Installation Media you just created (change Boot Order in your BIOS) to begin installing Windows 10

During the installation process skip the steps which ask for a product key and select the option 'I am Reinstalling Windows 10 on this PC', and activation will not be an issue.

    Best Regard

    Amr
