Reinstall driver
Press the Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
Expand the “Imaging Devices” and “Biometric Devices” sections.
Right-click on the drivers and select Uninstall device.
Restart your computer, and Windows will automatically reinstall the driver.
Go to the Device Manager; install it manually if the driver is not listed.
Check for Windows updates. Settings(Win+I) > Windows update > Check for Windows update.
After installing the pending updates and restarting the computer, return to the exact Windows Update screen, click Advanced Options > Optional Updates, apply the optional updates, and restart the PC.
Run SFC
- Open the Start menu and search for "Command Prompt" or "CMD."Right-click on it and select "Run as admin.
- Open command prompt with administrator access
- Type each command below and wait until the scan is completed.
SFC /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Reset the Facial Recognition options and setup it.
