Ping Spikes

Hello, recently there was a power outage which seems to have done something to my PC. I'm experiencing random ping spikes and I'm not sure why. My computer was working fine one minute, then the power went out and when I turned it back on I started getting ping spikes. My PC specs are CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor, GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER, 32 GB ram, 1 TB memory with SSD. I have tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling graphics card drivers, using a VPN, updating my system to Windows 11 (from Windows 10), I checked to make sure other drivers were up to date, I checked the ping on two other computers using the same internet as me which were fine, I added a new rule to Windows Defender Firewall (for Valorant), I scanned my computer multiple times and different ways to check for viruses and there were none. I do use WiFi and not Ethernet, but my router is in the same room as me. It seems like I have tried everything and nothing has fixed this issue so if anyone has recommendations that would be very helpful.

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing ping spikes after a power outage. Have you tried changing your DNS to another option or resetting the network for this device ? These basic troubleshooting measures have broad applicability and can be attempted to solve a variety of network problems.

    In addition, have you tried performing a clean boot to find out if any applications running in the background are consuming network resources, or using Resource Monitor (You can search it in the search box on the desktop) to identify any processes or applications that may be causing network congestion?

    It's worth mentioning that power outages can sometimes cause hardware damage. If you continue experiencing issues after trying these steps, it may be necessary to have your hardware inspected by a professional.
