Thank you for your reply and assistance, Jaspreet. I could not figure out how to navigate the instructions on that website.
Is there any other information or remedies to try? Is there a fix?

Hello. My HP Envy x360 Laptop with Windows has a keyboard issue. Suddenly, the key with a hyphen (and underscore) just stopped working. Only that one key does not function. It does nothing when clicked on. Does anyone know a fix? Thank you.

Hello MichellePR,
I am Jaspreet Singh.
The key has most likely failed.
Try using this website to test the key : https://en.key-test.ru/
Does the corresponding key light up?
