Error 0xc000000f boot error

I need help on something!!! I got an error that says recovery, "The operating system couldnt be loaded because a critical system driver is missing or contains errors. Error 0xc000000f. ACPI.sys. I heard to get an USB but I don't have one should I just buy one? Would it even work even though it's not mine?

Hi Relic,

Boot into Windows RE and run SFC /Scannow with output logging, See this article for instructions.

Copy the output log to your USB stick, transfer it to another computer*,* and share the log on OneDrive.

Simply do a clean (custom) installation of Windows by booting from the USB disk. How to: Perform a Custom Installation of Windows 11 and Windows 10 or - Microsoft Community.

One of the benefits of performing a Custom Install, your Windows installation can be archived. After setup is complete, you can recover personal files and application data from the Windows.old folder.

    Thanks for the answer.

    1. On the BSOD screen on your computer, click F8 and then F10.
    2. Select numeral 1 to enter Launch Recovery evironment.
    3. Then select Troubleshoot and Advanced options.
    4. Click Start-up Repair, select your username and enter your password.
    5. Wait for the process to finish and check if you can access Windows normally.

    NOTE: if at the end of the process the message "Start-up Repair counldn't repair your PC" appears, click on Advanced options and then select "Continue".

    I can't really turn it off or uninstall because I'm in the bsod and whenever I try to go back into the thing it keeps going back to the bsod. I've tried everything

    ACPI.sys is the ACPI Driver for NT, it's a System driver and is not the true cause of the crash and it being faulted by possibly another device driver or form of hardware.

    Disable or uninstall your Avast antivirus and check if the BSOD persists.

    This is the error screen and btw is it in the SSD or the m.2 drive because I can get that replaced and I tried factory reset
