I'm getting an error which i think has something to do with .NET but i really don't have any idea. I am using windows 11 pro. The details in the error message are as follows:See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.BadImageFormatException: Could not load file or assembly '84480 bytes loaded from IECrashHandler, Version=10.0.1243.243, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. Hi, thank you for patiently waiting, as per checking and analyzing the event logs, there are multiple Disk errors, this error occurs when there is an issue with the file system or there is a hardware-related problem which is on your hard drive, for us to sort out the issue, kindly follow the steps below:

Method 1. Run full check disk.

Open Powershell with Admin or CMD with Admin (Press Windows key + X then click Windows Powershell(Admin))

Copy, paste, and enter the command below:

chkdsk c: /f

Follow the prompt and restart the PC if needed.

Method 2. Do clean boot:

A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.

  • In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results.
  • On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all.
  • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.
  • Under Startup in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then select Disable.
  • Close Task Manager.
  • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it's in a clean boot environment.

Troubleshooting reference: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929135...

Method 3. Run memory diagnostic tool: The memory diagnostic tool is a RAM test to check if there are any issues with RAM.

  • Press Windows key + R then type in mdsched.exe hit OK then restart the device.

Note: If the issue persists, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the device for any hardware-related issues.

I reinstalled windows 11 a couple weeks ago because of malware that was causing my accounts to get hacked, if that's relevant in any way. Though this error only started showing up a few days ago.

    I ran the scan;

    FRST.text

    Addition.txt

Edit: The file IECrashHandler.exe, located in the internet explorer folder in Program files (x86), had been added to the exceptions list in Windows Security. I have removed it and it has been flagged as a severe threat, what should i do now?

It's caused by malware. See this VT analysis.
