Have an USB-C to HDMI device. The device driver is not installed. The error is "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) A USB port reset request failed.". I tried all the steps linked below. No solution so far. Tested usb device on different pcs and failed to load the driver. Furthermore, HDMI is not working.

It's like a hardware problem. Even if it works on individual computers, this could be an accident. I would recommend returning it to the factory for service.

Thanks for the reply. I tested it on 5 different laptops. İnterestingly it works on one of them but not the others. The other 4 laptops gave me the same error as I mentioned in the post.

Hello, I'm A&K, here to help.

This error code is usually hardware related and there is one of the easiest tests to confirm it. Can you connect the device to another compatible computer (either your own or borrowed from your friend) and see if it works?
