Querry on SQL database payment in sandbox environment

Question

I am learning Azure Fundamentals and I'm in concept "Explore Azure database and analytics services". I am trying to create a SQL database but on last step of creation it shows I have to pay 380USD per month. As I understand I am working on free trial resource.

hi @Padmavati Gubber , welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Microsoft Learn Sandbox is free of cost. The amount that is shown in the screenshot your provided is for general usage of Azure SQL Database when people take proper azure subscription. In Sandbox, it is not chargeable. To make it more clear, while creating the Sandbox we don't have to provide any credit card details or any other mode of payment.

The resources (example is Azure SQL Database) automatically gets deleted after certain time by themselves.

Just check the yellow highlighted box in below screenshot where it says we are using Microsoft Learn Sandbox:
