Recurring Blue Screen Shutdowns

Hi everyone,

These past few days I've been having BSOD errors, almost on a daily basis, and I can't pinpoint the problem. Initially I thought it was performance-related, since it tended to happen while gaming, but it has also occurred while performing tasks that are not as resource-intensive.

If anyone could help me interpret these I'd be very thankful, since for the most part I'm a regular user and not very knowledgeable on deeper system issues.

My PC is a Lenovo ThinkPad P72 laptop wtih an Intel Core i7-8750H CPU, an NVidia Quadro P2000 GPU and 16GB RAM. I'm running Windows 11, version 22H2.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, thanks for replying, and yes that would be the best option, for them to check the device physically and point out the main issue on the PC, I really appreciate your cooperation. (smile)

Thanks a lot for your advice.

Memory diagnostic last night didn't find any issues, so I'll try a clean boot today that I have more time.

I'm still taking it to a PC repair technician on Monday, anyway.

Hi, and thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard a Windows fan like you. I'll be happy to help you out today.

I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to help, upon analyzing and checking the DMP files, the error you have is PAGE_HASH_ERRORS_0x1a_3f, this means there is a problem with the RAM itself or the RAM slot on the motherboard, in this case, I highly suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the device as it is a hardware problem, it might need a RAM replacement or just need to clean the motherboard, in addition, let us eliminate any possible software issues or conflict with any software, kindly follow the steps below:

    Method 1. Do clean boot:

A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.

    • In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results.
    • On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all.
    • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.
    • Under Startup in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then select Disable.
    • Close Task Manager.
    • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it's in a clean boot environment.

Method 2. Run memory diagnostic tool: The memory diagnostic tool is a RAM test to check if there are any issues with RAM.

    • Press Windows key + R then type in mdsched.exe hit OK then restart the device.

Note: If the issue persists, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the device for any hardware-related issues.

Let me know how it goes and I hope that helps.

    Bernard
