Hi there,

I am new to power query so I hope I am going to make sense here. I have an exell file with connections to a another excel file on my desktop.
The file always keeps the same column headers in order for the connections to work properly. It has been working fine the last few weeks until now. My issue with the 'Refresh', it brings up an error message on one of the uploads. The following error message is appearing:

'Microsoft Excel can't insert new cells because it would push non-empty cells off the end of the worksheet. These cells might appear empty but have blank values, some formatting, or a formula. Delete enough rows or columns to make room for what you want to insert and try again.

I hope you can see my snip below.

I have tried to delete/clear all the unused cells in the file however it still brings up this error message on Refresh.

Does any one know the solution?

thank you in advance

    Hi @Browne, Laura

(can't see your picture). You generally get this error when there's not enough available rows to load the query output to a worksheet or when you load different queries (each with different number of rows) side by side to the same worksheet (there are probably other scenarios)

Difficult to say more for now. However, I would recommend you load the query that currently causes problem to a NEW worksheet, just to check this has nothing to do with the query itself
