Windows function automatically working, how to stop it.

Question

My Dell laptop (windows 8) , has gone crazy ! My windows function key is automatically working without even pressing. My laptop is going from windows to desktop and back to windows (and repeat) for split seconds without pressing anything. This happens for a couple of minutes without me doing anything. When I try to enter any key on the keyboard , the short cut functions start working (again not my intention). It gets fine on its own for sometime and then back to being crazy without me doing anything.

Can someone suggest what's happening and what I can do to stop it.

Try using a wired USB Keyboard.

And did you turn it off, then back on again??
