My PC has been rebooting like crazy. It won't even get to the BIOS

Does anyone know what is going on? Is it a faulty PSU?

Please help.

Hello! My name is David N. and I am a Microsoft Community Independent Advisor and Windows fan. I will be happy to assist you with your issue.

This issue is likely caused by either a bad PSU or one that cannot manage the load that the PC is putting on it.

    To troubleshoot:

    1. If you have added any new hardware, remove it. If the PC boots, that hardware is drawing too much power. This could be because the machine is near its limit and something small put it over the top, or in the case of video cards or external USB devices (most likely culprits) the new device simply requires too much power.

If it is not a video card or USB device, the computer is too close to the limit already and can eventually wear out the power supply. If that is the case, or if you simply do not want to stop using the new device, you will need to upgrade your power supply.

    1. You can try a different PSU if you can borrow one with sufficient power to run your machine.

To calculate your needs, you can find PSU calculators such as this one: https://www.newegg.com/tools/power-supply-calcu...

Please be advised that this is a third-party site. While it appears to be reputable, safe, and have accurate information, you will need to use it and any advice it gives at your own risk.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if this resolves your issue or if you require further assistance.

    Regards,

    David N.
