PC Boot Issue REGISTRY_ERROR

Hello,

I am experiencing a problem with my PC running Windows 11. Initially, I encountered an issue with Discord not opening, so I attempted to restart my computer to resolve it. However, upon restarting, my PC failed to boot properly and instead presented a blue screen with the error message "REGISTRY_ERROR." I attempted to repair the Windows 11 installation using a recovery USB, but I encountered difficulties due to limited space on the boot drive. Despite my attempts to delete files to free up space, I was unable to perform necessary actions as if the system couldn't read or write on the boot drive. I am seeking your expertise and assistance in diagnosing and resolving this issue.

Thank you for your attention and support.

This is normal for recovery environment.

Please try to use a system restore as described in https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/rec...

If something will go wrong, please describe in detail and show a photo.

I have no idea why but its not a option, its all so missing lots of other options that i have seen other people have had.

I have done all the steps again and now when do BCDedit is has two drives one is boot manager which it says is a directory? (im not good with computers) and the other is boot loader which is E: drive, however my E: drive used to be my C: drive when my pc was normal. Hopefully this information helps.

Did you try system restore? It will not destroy your files.

    Thank you for the reply,

I have done all of these steps before but to not much success except for step 7 which will do soon. I have also seen that booting into "safemode" can help to i ran the command in the terminal to make safe mode the default boot option but it was also to no success. If there is anything deeper that i could to to fix the os without wiping everything off my pc i would be happy to give it a try.

    Thank you, Brontedog_08

    Hi,

My name is Igor, it's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you.

Please use Windows installation media and try a recovery steps described at

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/402603...

Note, Step 7 may be faulty unfortunately.

And you may use the same environment to run System restore and roll back to the date brfore the problem.
